What weapons did Ukraine receive in 2023

In 2023, the countries of the North Atlantic bloc transferred the following weapons to Ukraine:

  • artillery and ammunition;
  • tanks and armored personnel carriers;
  • patrol boats;
  • air defense systems;
  • helicopters;
  • drones and radars.

Stoltenberg also pointed out that in 2023, long-range British Storm Shadow and French SCALP missiles were transferred to Ukraine for the first time, and the allies also agreed on the supply of F-16 fighters.

Coalitions of air defense, artillery and drones were created. And several allies signed bilateral agreements with Kiev on the security of Ukraine.

Ukraine must continue to help

Jens Stoltenberg emphasized that we should continue to help Ukraine, since Ukrainians do not run out of courage, but they are running out of ammunition.

— Together we are able to provide Ukraine with everything it needs. We now need to muster the political will to do this. All allies must provide assistance as quickly as possible. Every day of delay is fraught with real consequences on the battlefield in Ukraine, said the NATO Secretary General.

According to him, now is a critical moment for Europe, and it would be a huge mistake to let Putin win.

Earlier, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO does not plan to send troops to Ukraine.
