Minibus after a collision in Rivne/Police of the Rivne region
On the morning of May 10, a large-scale accident occurred in Rivne involving a truck, minibus and two cars. There was a danger, because the truck was transporting propane tanks
Dangerous accident
The accident occurred at about 06:20 at the intersection of Prince Vladimir – Roman Shukhevych and Litovskaya streets in Rivne.
Who exactly caused the collision of cars is still being established by investigators. It is only known that four cars collided – a truck, a minibus and two cars.
Fortunately, early in the morning, a considerable number of victims were avoided. Initially, four people were reported to have been taken to the hospital. However, later the emergency medical service clarified that five medical cars were working at the scene. And seven people were injured. Six of them were hospitalized, they received injuries of varying severity. Another victim refused hospitalization.

According to the police, the driver of the truck was driving while intoxicated: the Drager device showed 1.04 ppm . While the allowable rate in Ukraine is up to 0.2 ppm.
It was this driver who was transporting dangerous goods – propane cylinders that could explode due to collisions.
Deadly accident in Rivne region
- On May 3, a fatal accident occurred in the Rivne region, in which 26 people died. Then a fuel truck collided with a bus and a minibus. A large number of victims is due to the fact that a large fire broke out after the collision.
- Then the accident was caused by a minibus, which, while overtaking, drove into the oncoming lane. He crashed into a fuel truck, which then flew into a bus heading to meet him.
- The bus was traveling with passengers to Poland. The youngest passenger who died was 17 years old.
