For the last few nights, the Russian Federation has not used Shaheds for attacks in Ukraine, which may indicate that the enemy is preparing for new massive shelling.
This opinion was expressed by the speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ilya Evlash on the air of the One News telethon in a commentary by the host of the Week of News Yana Brenzei.
“Pause” between shelling: what the enemy is preparing for
— We saw the day before how the enemy used mainly guided aircraft and cruise missiles, but indeed for several days in a row we have not seen attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type. This may be due to various reasons… This could be a lull before preparing for some more massive action, or monitoring and waiting for a step on our part, — he emphasized.

At the same time, Evlash does not consider the frequent air alerts due to the takeoff of the MiG-31K in the Russian Federation, in particular the day before, as evidence of preparation for such attacks.
— The Russians are constantly preparing; the MiG may not necessarily take off precisely in order to carry out shelling. He may make some flights related to other reasons, for example, patrolling, redeployment, relocation, etc., — added the Air Force speaker.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 793rd day.
