The head of the regional military administration of Kovel, Olga Cheren, said that after the hostile actions of the invaders, as of the morning of July 26, two adults were in the hospital due to injuries. It is known that fragments of an anti-aircraft missile and an enemy drone fell in the village of Dubove.
One of the injured is in traumatology. Doctors diagnosed him with fractured ribs and scapula. Another injured man is in the surgical department with a broken leg.
Olga Cheren said that one of the injured men is the brother of the deceased. By the time the debris fell, the men were in the garage, which was completely destroyed by the impact.
In addition to two adults, three children were also injured. By the time the debris fell, the children, two of whom were displaced, were in the house. After being examined and given medical assistance, they were allowed to go home.
The children were in a state of fright. Two of them arrived in Dubove from Kharkov, hiding from the bombing, – said the head of the RVA.
The deceased resident of the village of Dubove will be buried on July 26. He was 70 years old.
What is known about enemy drones in Volyn
- On July 25, at about 3 p.m., information appeared that the Ukrainian military had destroyed 2 enemy drones in the Volyn direction. The wreckage of one enemy UAV fell and damaged private houses.
- Air command “West” said that the drones arrived from the territory of the Belarusians and carried out reconnaissance of objects in the Volyn region. A fighter jet was raised to intercept the UAV, and the air defense system also went off.
