Occupiers killed half a thousand civilians
Kirilenko said that on June 14, the Russians killed 3 civilians in Donbass: two in Novoukrainka and one in Dobropolye. Another 4 people were injured.
Since February 24, more than half a thousand civilians in the Donetsk region have been killed by Russian shells. At the same time, the head of the OVA stressed that it was impossible to establish the exact number of deaths in Mariupol and Volnovakha. Therefore, in fact, there could be much more victims. The official stressed that every war criminal will be punished.
What is the situation in Donbas
Over the past month, heavy fighting has been going on in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. On June 14, President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the Donbass direction is key to determining who will dominate in the coming weeks. Losses there are painful, but we must hold on.
- The most difficult thing is in the area of Severodonetsk. So, the enemy tried to take the city by storm and tried to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops near the village of Metelkino, but was defeated.
- At the same time, in the Donetsk direction, the Russian invaders are regrouping and strengthening the group. They are trying to cordon off units of Ukrainian troops in the area of Lysychansk, Privilege, Severodonetsk and Borovsky.
- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian invaders in the Slavyansk direction attempted an assault in Bogorodichne. The invaders failed, so they retreated.
- Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Viktor Andrusiv stressed that the threat of an attack on Slovyansk had grown due to a lack of ammunition for our defenders.
