Despite the change of administrations, the unfair and biased attitude of the European Union towards our country, incompatible with the principle of loyalty, has not changed. They are carrying out injustice upon injustice against our country by ignoring the principles, rules and processes they have put on paper, the Turkish president said.

He believes the EU can “correct its mistakes” if it refuses from these injustices.

“If not, then they will completely lose the right to have any expectations from us politically, socially, economically and militarily. If they intend to end the process of full membership, which has now become empty talk , then this is also their personal business,” Erdogan emphasized.

Turkey can “break” with the EU

Recall that the Turkish leader recently said that the bloc is trying to “break away” from his country. He also noted that the state will “evaluate events.”

Erdogan noted that his country could “break” with the European Union if such a need arises.

“The EU is trying to break away from Turkey “We will evaluate these events, and if necessary, we can break with the EU,” he said.
