Turkish companies are interested in resuming trade with Ukraine, – Sviridenko

Large Turkish companies that worked in Ukraine and were forced to stop doing business because of the war, now they are determined to restore trade routes between our countries as soon as possible. Also, these companies are interested in compensation for losses caused by the actions of the Russian occupiers.

First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko spoke about this after a working meeting with Turkish companies united by the Turkish- Ukrainian Business Council under the Council for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkey.

“The meeting was attended by the heads of more than 20 powerful companies from different sectors of the economy. The key topic is the resumption of their work in Ukraine,” she says.

< p>According to her, specific practical steps are being developed for each of the issues of interest to the Turkish side in order to solve all problems and resume the work of the maximum number of companies in Ukraine.

“Since the first days of the war, we have been meeting with systemically important companies every day and help to restore business activity. This is important, since only a strong economy can withstand this full-scale war from Russia,” Sviridenko stressed.

Recall that earlier Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that the state had already created a detailed plan for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, which would have several priority areas, including economic development.
