Donald Trump's Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg met with Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova on February 6. This was the first meeting between the American official and the Ukrainian diplomat in his new position.

How the meeting between Kellogg and Markarova went

The Ambassador wrote that this was not her first meeting with General Keith Kellogg at all. However, this was the first meeting with the American official in his official capacity as Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, to which he was appointed by President Trump on February 3.

The Ukrainian side was also represented at the meeting by Defense Attaché of Ukraine Borys Kremenetsky and his deputy Denys Sienik.

By the way, the media wrote that Donald Trump's special representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg may visit Kyiv as early as February 20. This date was tentatively proposed by the American side.
