US President Donald Trump's special representative Steve Witkoff did visit Russia. He returned with American Mark Vogel, who was held by Russia and about whom he negotiated.

President Trump, Steve Witkoff and the president's advisers agreed to an exchange that is a show of goodwill on the part of the Russians and a sign that we are moving in the right direction to end the brutal and terrible war in Ukraine, – said Volz.

Preliminary, according to Russian media, the Gulfstream G650ER business jet with tail number N103WG, belonging to one of the companies of the US President's special envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, took off from Moscow at 20:25. The publication cites data from flight tracking services.

Recall that earlier it was reported that information appeared on the Internet that on Tuesday, February 11, Trump's special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff could have flown to Moscow from Washington. The plane with him could have landed at the local Vnukovo airport.
