Mike Waltz noted that Donald Trump is “determined” to end the war in Ukraine and “is clear” about it.

However, the future advisor to the US President-elect did not give a clear answer to the question of whether there is a plan to implement these agreements.

He also emphasized that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared his readiness to work with his future American counterpart to “stop this war.”

“This is a killing field. This is the trench warfare of World War I with a literal meat grinder of people running across open fields in eastern Ukraine. But with the consequences of an escalation of World War III,” the congressman summarized.

In addition, Mike Waltz noted that the war in Ukraine is “expanding.” In particular, this is happening after North Korea, which is “currently sending tens of thousands” of its troops to the conflict, took part in the fighting on Russia's side.

By the way, during a rally in Washington on January 20, Donald Trump once again stated that he would put an end to the war in Ukraine. The US President-elect also noted that he could “prevent World War III.”
