The US President noted that he was praying for Trump and his family, as well as for everyone who was at the rally.

There is no place for such violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn this,” Joe Biden said.
US Vice President Kamala Harris added that everyone should condemn this heinous act and do everything to prevent further incidents.

They expressed hope that “this incident will unite not only their team, but the entire nation for the sake of the security and peace of the country”.
Pre-election campaign leaders promised to take additional security measures after the assassination attempt on Trump.
Despite the shooting at the rally, the Republican convention in Milwaukee on July 15, during which Trump is to be nominated as the 47th President of the United States, is not going to be cancelled.
“In this moment of tragedy and horror, we must be resolute in our mission to re-elect Trump as president,” Republicans said.
