US President Donald Trump issued a statement on the massive military strike that he said had completely destroyed critical sites in Iran's nuclear program, warning Iran against retaliation.
Trump calls Iran strike a spectacular success
In particular, the underground plant in Fordow, the facility in Natanga and infrastructure in Isfahan were hit. Trump warned Iran against any attempt to retaliate, noting the strength of the American military.
Iranian officials confirmed the attack, but details of the damage remain unclear. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi sharply condemned the U.S. actions, calling the airstrikes outrageous and warning of lifelong consequences for Washington.

In his address to the nation, Trump called the operation a spectacular military success, though some Democrats criticized him for acting without congressional approval.
The president said American aircraft carried out precision strikes on three critical Iranian nuclear infrastructure sites, including a deeply buried site at Fordow that the military estimates can only be reached with massive 30,000-pound bombs.
The bombs were dropped on multiple targets inside Iran, according to a U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation, although the exact locations of the impacts were not disclosed.
Defense Minister Pete Hegseth promised to provide more information by Sunday morning.
The Iranian side, in turn, described the airstrikes as an act of aggression against peaceful nuclear facilities, emphasizing that it has every right to defend its territory and population by all available means.
Tehran insists that its nuclear program is purely civilian in nature.
War between Israel and Iran
Meanwhile, the situation in the Middle East escalated further on Sunday morning, with Israel and Iran exchanging missile strikes.
The Israel Defense Forces reported at least 10 attacks on Iranian targets in response to rocket fire from Tehran.
The strikes caused fires and injured at least 16 people, according to Israeli officials.
