Trump told a completely fictitious story about the “recording” of his call with Zelensky – CNN

Trump distorted the story about the telephone conversation with Zelensky into lies/Collage 24 Channel

Donald Trump, former US President, told a fictitious story about a “recorded” telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. This happened at an election rally in Ohio.

Trump claimed that he allowed Democrats to make increasingly “wild” statements about the content of the conversation with Zelensky, and then “released the record.” When Nancy Pelosi, then Speaker of the House, “heard” the recording, he said, she was furious that her allies had deceived her with “false” descriptions of the call.

Trump caught in a lie

As Trump noted, Pelosi allegedly told her people: “Why did you get me involved? Did you hear this conversation? He (Trump – Channel 24) did nothing like that!”

At the same time, the former US President assured that she was told: “Let’s just pretend that he did it and continue to move forward.”

The Trump story is a complete fabrication. Not a single recording of his conversation with Zelensky has ever been published. Pelosi could not have been angry with her allies after hearing the recording of the call because she had never heard the recording of the conversation, CNN writes. leaders are not usually recorded by the American side. Instead, they are recorded in writing using software and officials who listen to the conversation.

What the phone conversation was about

  • Trump is trying to rewrite reality regarding the telephone conversation with Zelensky, during which he put pressure on the Ukrainian president. Journalists from CNN exposed the former American leader in lies.
  • Actually, the former head of the White House told the head of our state to investigate Joe Biden, who was then his potential rival in the election 2020 President of the United States.
  • This false story about Pelosi that Trump told at his rally was a more dramatic version of the false stories he spread more than four years ago.

Trump made numerous other false statements at the Ohio rally. He told the “tape” version of the story while criticizing Democratic politician Adam Schiff, who is now running for US senator from California.

Additionally, Trump is promoting baseless conspiracy theory about alleged Ukrainian interference in the 2016 elections.
