US May Transfer Additional Patriots to Ukraine
Trump admitted that Kyiv “really wants” to receive modern air defense systems.

In recent months, Ukraine has asked the United States to transfer or sell several Patriot systems to bolster its defenses against massive missile attacks from Russia.

In early June, the Ukrainian delegation handed over to US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent a list of weapons that Ukraine would like to purchase from the United States. In particular, it referred to air defense.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he planned to discuss with Donald Trump the possibility of purchasing a defense package for Ukraine, including Patriot systems.

Trump called the meeting with Zelensky “very pleasant,” suggesting that the Ukrainian president would like to see the war end.
