US President Donald Trump has threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin to “bomb Moscow” to deter the Kremlin from attacking Ukraine.
Donald Trump himself spoke about this during a closed donor meeting in 2024, CNN notes, adding the corresponding audio.

“If you invade Ukraine, I will bomb Moscow to death, I tell you, I have no choice,” he said.
However, even according to Trump himself, the head of the Kremlin responded that he did not believe him. At the same time, the US President believes that Putin “believed 10%.”
Trump later said he had conveyed a similar warning to Chinese President Xi Jinping, promising to “bomb Beijing,” while discussing a possible Chinese invasion of Taiwan.
“He thought I was crazy,” Trump said of Xi, before adding that he “never had a problem” with the Chinese leader.
The publication added that it had a series of audio recordings from 2024 charity events in New York and Florida that had never been aired before. Trump's campaign declined to comment on the contents of the recordings.
“The audio shows a more relaxed side of Trump that he was willing to reveal behind closed doors to attract wealthy donors,” the journalists note.
Thus, Donald Trump cited his conversations with Putin and Xi, claiming that he would have prevented the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza if he had been president instead of Joe Biden.
Recall that in recent days, the US President has repeatedly expressed disappointment with Vladimir Putin's resistance to the peace agreement and even stated that the Kremlin leader is saying “a lot of stupid things.”
