Trump's Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg denied information that he will publish a peace plan to end the war at the Munich Conference. Everything will happen a little differently.

Political scientist and partner of the Good Politics communications agency Maksim Dzhigun told Channel 24 about this, noting that the information that Kellogg would publish a peace plan was rather strange. This would mean that the end of the war is closer than it seems.

When the peace plan will be ready

As Dzhigun noted, it is unlikely that the peace plan is ready yet. If Kellogg had published it, it would have meant that certain negotiating frameworks already exist as a result of closed consultations between Ukraine and the US and between the US and Russia. This is probably not the case now.

This would already move us to the next stage of ending the war. It will consist of forming working groups and determining the dates of meetings where proposals would be specifically discussed. The fact that the information about the plan being made public was denied shows that things are not so easy for Trump and his administration, said Dzhigun.

In addition, it is unlikely that Kellogg will make the peace plan public. It is clear that this will be done by Donald Trump. He wants to demonstrate that the end of the full-scale war in Ukraine is his victory.

For now, Trump is waiting. He understands that a peace plan can only be made public when both sides are ready for it.

We will hear about some conditions for ending the war only after it is guaranteed that both sides will agree to the things that will be written there. Then everything will move on to practical implementation, – emphasized Dzhigun.

Recall that Trump has repeatedly promised to end the war in Ukraine as quickly as possible. He recently stated that there is progress on this issue.
