“There are a few weeks left until we receive it. It could be three to four weeks, ”the American leader said, adding that the US has great companies and they are very, very close.
On September 15, it became known that in the United States, trials of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus vaccine, developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford, were temporarily stopped due to a possible adverse reaction in one of the patients. Testing for the efficacy and safety of the drug has been suspended in order to analyze data on side effects.
The United States remains in first place for the number of reported cases of coronavirus infection. For the entire time of the pandemic, more than 6.6 million cases were detected in the country. More than 195 thousand patients have died, 2.49 million have recovered. In total, as of September 16, more than 29.4 million people have been infected worldwide.
