Russia's war against Ukraine must be ended as soon as possible. And this must be done through a “fair agreement” for all parties.

US presidential candidate Donald Trump told reporters this, as The Guardian writes, after a meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

Trump said he wants to reach a “fair agreement”

As the Republican explained, in the context of Russia's war against Ukraine, he wants a “fair agreement for everyone.” He also added that he “learned a lot” during his conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

We both want this to end, and we both want a fair deal to be reached. It has to be fair. And I think it will happen at the right time, Trump said.

Neither he nor Zelensky explained the details of such a potential agreement. The presidential candidate refrained from giving specifics about what kind of agreement to end the war between Russia and Ukraine he would consider fair.

When asked how Trump sees a “fair” agreement to end the Russian-Ukrainian war, he replied: “It's too early to talk about that.” The Ukrainian leader merely emphasized once again that pressure is needed on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

In addition, during a meeting with Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky invited him to visit Ukraine. The former US president replied that he would “definitely do it.” However, he did not say when exactly.
