Trump is Putin’s last card, – Piontkovsky said what a candidate instead of Biden should be Dzvenislava Moshovskaya

Preparations for the upcoming presidential elections on November 5 continue in the United States 2024. After an unsuccessful debate, Joe Biden announced that he does not plan to withdraw his candidacy from the election race.

Russian publicist and opposition politician from the USA Andrey Piontkovsky told 24 Channelthat the current US President will still have to withdraw his candidacy. In his opinion, all of Biden's recent public appearances were as unsuccessful as the debates.

US Elections

Andrei Piontkovsky noted that Biden’s refusal to leave the future election race could increase Donald Trump’s chances of becoming US President. His position on Ukraine is very negative, and his attitude towards Russia, on the contrary, is too loyal. He supports Vladimir Putin’s criminal narratives about a ceasefire on the territory of our state.

Trump is Putin’s last card. The Kremlin dictator is waiting for him to come to power and put pressure on Ukraine regarding negotiations, said an opposition politician.

Replacement for Biden

According to Piontkovsky, Democrats should replace Biden's candidacy in the US presidential election with a junior politician.

It doesn’t matter who it will be. The main thing is that it is not Biden, that his weakness is not broadcast to American voters every day, he said.

The oppositionist noted that the policy of the new Democratic candidate should be more aggressive towards to Trump, so that voters understand that he is opposing Putin’s agent, who is seeking to come to power in the United States.

In the Republican Party, Trump is the only one who takes an anti-Ukrainian position. “This is strange, because such a policy does not bring him electoral bonuses,” he noted.

Andrei Piontkovsky added that the only motive for such a pro-Russian position may be the desire to please Putin.< /p>
