In the United States of America in winter Presidential elections will take place in 2024. Leading politicians are already expressing concerns about the victory of former US President Donald Trump. and what position his entourage will take. Political scientist, head of the Center for Analysis and Strategies Igor Chalenko told Channel about this

“A lot really depends on personalities, but it also depends on professionals who, regardless of party affiliation, still defend the traditional American position, which often does not even change, depending on whether the majority are Democrats or Republicans,” Chalenko noted.

Trump's personal insult

Trump is very offended by his first term in office and 2020 election results. The apogee was in January 2021, when the majority of Trump’s entourage decided not to support him in the fight for the presidency and did not defend his point of view that everything was falsified. Therefore, the ex-President of the United States has a personal grievance.

The first term of Trump's presidency showed that everything depends on his circle. Today we do not know who the proposed candidate is, for example, for the position of vice president, and it is also unknown regarding the Secretary of State,” said the political scientist.

According to him, it is alleged that Trump was the first to give Ukraine the Javelin as a lethal weapon, but everything was somewhat different. Together with then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, the need to transfer lethal weapons to Ukraine was explained to him for several months. In the end, when the pressure was put on them, Trump insisted that these weapons should not be transferred at the expense of American taxpayers, but that Ukraine should pay for them in full.

He defended his point of view, but at the same time we saw the influence of the environment. Now the question arises to what extent Trump’s entourage, despite his personal grievances and vision, will be able to impose on him a pro-American policy on the topic of Ukraine,” Chalenko noted.

In his opinion, this will Ukraine's further cooperation with the United States will depend. If Trump still wins, then everything will depend on the ability to balance the activities of his administration in order not to create additional lines of division.
