A decisive round of talks with senior officials from the United States, Qatar, Egypt and Israel will take place in Doha on Thursday, August 15, to try to resolve the differences between Israel and Hamas.

The purpose of Trump's call was to encourage Netanyahu to accept the agreement. At the same time, the publication's employee emphasized that he does not know whether this is really what the former president told Netanyahu. The Israeli prime minister's office did not deny the call took place, and Trump's campaign declined to comment.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters at a briefing that it was critical to reach an agreement to free the hostages, help the Palestinians in Gaza and reduce regional tensions, the article says.

Last month, Trump told Fox News that Israel should end the war in Gaza and return the hostages as soon as possible.

By the way, it was previously reported that the US Department of Defense ordered a guided missile submarine to be sent to the Middle East, and the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group to head to the area as soon as possible.
