Previously, the ex-President of the United States stated that he would supposedly be able to end Russia’s war against Ukraine within 24 hours. However, when Vladimir Zelensky offered to come, Donald Trump refused.

The former US president declined the invitation of the Ukrainian leader. Trump gave the reason for his refusal.

Why Trump won't come to Ukraine

“I have great respect for President Zelensky, but I think it would be inappropriate to go to Ukraine now,” Trump said.

He also added that the Administration of current US President Joseph Biden is now “doing business” with Zelensky, so he supposedly “would not want to create a conflict of interest.”

What preceded this

  • Trump said he could supposedly end the war within 24 hours. To do this, he would bring Vladimir Zelensky and the president of the terrorist country to the negotiating table and conclude a “fair agreement.” Yes, contrary to the official statements of the President of Ukraine that there can be no negotiations with Putin.
  • The head of state responded to such statements.
  • “If he can come here, I will need 24 minutes, no more, to explain to him that he will not be able to deal with this war, that he will not be able to bring peace through Putin,” Zelensky said.
  • The Ukrainian leader is convinced that Trump will not be able to negotiate peace with the head of the aggressor state if he is not ready to give up Ukrainian territories and independence.
