Trump called Putin's conditions for ending the war in Ukraine unacceptable

by alex

US presidential candidate Donald Trump said that the conditions put forward by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine are unacceptable.

Trump said this during a televised debate with current US President Joe Biden.

What Trump said about Putin's conditions

Previously, Vladimir Putin, before the first Peace Summit, made a statement describing his conditions. In particular, Putin said that Russia would stop the war if Kyiv gives up all four regions claimed by Moscow — Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson. In addition, the Kremlin dictator demands that Ukraine refuse to join NATO.

After Trump first avoided answering a question posed by CNN's Dana Boesch at the presidential debate in Atlanta, Besh pressed him to answer a second time: Are Putin's terms acceptable to you?

— No, they are not acceptable, — Trump responded.

Trump once again repeated his thesis that he would end the war in Ukraine if he became President of the United States again. He made such statements constantly during his election campaign. But this time he did not provide any specifics regarding how he was going to end the war.

Previously, the Trump campaign said that if Trump wins, his priority will be to end the war as quickly as possible, but European countries should also make a greater contribution to supporting security.
