On July 15, Donald Trump took part in the Republican Party convention. The American politician arrived at the event with a bandaged ear.

As the US presidential candidate himself claimed, during the assassination attempt on July 14, he was saved from death by turning his head. A bullet that should have hit the politician's head pierced the upper part of his right ear.

Trump in a new role

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the Republican Party convention, Trump was officially announced as a presidential candidate.

During the politician's speech, his supporters chanted “Fight! Fight! Fight.” Such support touched the ex-President of the United States.

Note that this is his first public appearance after the assassination attempt, which was reminiscent of the bandage on his right ear.

To avoid a repeat of this, security was beefed up in Milwaukee before the start of the Republican event.

Recall that Trump was shot at during his election rally in Pennsylvania. Then 20-year-old Thomas Crooks managed to fire several shots before a sniper eliminated him. The shooting killed a 50-year-old firefighter who was participating in the rally. Two more people were seriously injured.
