He wrote about this on his own social network Truth Social.

“I will speak with Russian President Putin at 10 (17:00 Kyiv time, – Ed. ). Thank you,” the message says.
It should be noted that the last time Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin spoke was on June 14, against the backdrop of the escalation of the situation between Iran and Israel.

Earlier it became known that Ukraine and the United States are working to organize a telephone conversation between Presidents Trump and Zelensky amid the suspension of arms supplies.
After the call, Trump said Russia and Ukraine would negotiate a ceasefire and end the war “as soon as they can” while fighting continues, in what appears to be support for the Kremlin from the American president.
