Truck traffic has been unblocked on the border with Romania – State Border Guard Service

Truck traffic through the Porubno-Siret checkpoint on the border with Romania is unblocked.

This was reported on January 20 by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

The fact that the protesters stopped blocking the movement of trucks through the checkpoint was reported by representatives of the Romanian border police to the State Border Guard Service at 00:30 on January 20.

Registration of all categories of vehicles both for entry and exit from Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the established procedure.

For trucks, the State Border Service of Ukraine notes, the electronic queue continues to operate.

We would like to remind you that the day before truck traffic was unblocked in front of the Romanian checkpoint Vicovo de Sus, which is opposite the Ukrainian Krasnoilsk.

As the State Border Guard Service clarified, at the Krasnoilsk checkpoint, only empty trucks can cross the border of Ukraine with Romania.

Note that on January 13, Romanian farmers blocked the movement of trucks through the Siret checkpoint for six hours.
