Recently, the terrorist and owner of the Wagner PPK, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has spoken out on many occasions. In particular, he noted that if Bakhmut is not stormed, then Ukrainian forces will go further and take Luhansk, and then they can cross the border and fight on Russian territory.
Prigozhin is not a strategist, he did not graduate from military academies, and it is hardly worth listening to his “reflections”. Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin told Channel 24 about this.
Prigogine got in trouble
He believes that all the public activities of the owner of the Wagner PPK are aimed at inflating their own worth. This is the game he plays.
From the moment the leadership of the so-called SVO changed, when Sergei Surovikin left the post of commander of Russian forces in Ukraine (Prigozhin finances him) and a new command appeared in the person of the head of the General Staff, General Gerasimov, problems began, Feigin believes.
According to him, Prigozhin was banned from recruiting contractors for his VAT among convicts in places of deprivation of liberty. Then the “Wagnerites” had a “shell hunger”. Now he declares that if they do not help him, then the Ukrainian army will reach the codons and go to the territory of Russia.

Conflicts with everyone
“Prigozhin is trying to save himself. His situation has deteriorated very seriously, and if he does not have the main tool – the Wagner military complex, because it will be spent near Bakhmut, what then? Who will Prigozhin be? human rights activist noted.
According to Mark Feigin, Prigozhin is trying to save his position so that it remains the same as it was before all the conflicts – with the command, governors, with Putin's administration. He's in conflict with everyone.
More about Prigozhin's conflicts
- Andrey Piontkovsky, a Russian publicist and opposition politician from the United States, believes that the conflict between the Russian General Staff and PIK “Wagner” significantly reduces the combat effectiveness of the invaders. He is convinced that sooner or later Prigozhin will be killed because he “swung” on Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
- Between the leader of the PKK “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Kremlin, there has recently been a noticeable open confrontation. Prigozhin never captured Bakhmut, and thus did not live up to the hopes placed on him. Now Russian propagandists were even recommended not to remember him in any way.
- Alexei Gromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the Russian Ministry of Defense is trying to oust the head of the Wagner PPK. The Kremlin's military leadership is trying to establish control over the VAT and other paramilitary formations. Prigozhin cannot come to terms with the loss of influence, so he continues his confrontation with the Ministry of Defense.
