May 21 bad weather raged in many regions of Ukraine, in particular, in the Vinnitsa region, a strong wind uprooted trees.

The department noted that on Friday, May 21, the rescuers of the Vinnytsia region made 3 trips to clean up fallen trees from the roads. Which fell due to a strong, heavy wind.
These cases occurred in the Khmelnitsky and Vinnitsa regions of the region. 12 rescuers and 3 units of special equipment left to fight the consequences of bad weather from the State Emergency Service.

What to do during bad weather

- During bad weather, power outages often occur, it is better to be prepared for this. Remove any property that may be damaged from the street. Dry trees need to be cut and the car driven to a garage or to a place where there are no trees.
- It is better to remove the bed from the window with large glasses.
- Tightly close windows, doors, attic hatches and ventilation openings.
- If possible, it is better to stay at home on this day, but if you are outside, then stay away from houses, power poles, high fences, billboards and trees.
- During strong winds, take shelter in the nearest house or nature shelter.
What to do if you are in a car
- Do not park near large billboards, in the yards of old buildings, where there are many cluttered balconies with handicraft glazing, awnings, antennas, satellite dishes;
- Do not drive on streets planted with old trees, primarily with large and dry crowns;
- If a tree has fallen near your car, do not rush to go around it, look around to see if you will provoke an accident in this way;
< li>If something falls on your car, crouch as low as possible, because a heavy barrel can crush the roof of a modern passenger car.
