Law No. 11410 on the deprivation of state awards for popularizing or promoting an aggressor state or committing other illegal actions against Ukraine was signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
This is stated in a message on the website of the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday, November 20.

It should be noted that until now the issue of state awards was regulated by a 20-year-old law.
According to it, only the president can deprive an award by a court verdict and only if its bearer has committed a serious crime.
Among the traitors who are planned to be deprived of awards are Yuriy Boyko, Dmitry Tabachnik, Nestor Shufrich, Nikolay Azarov, Viktor Medvedchuk and others.
