Training of Ukrainian pilots on American F-16 fighters begins in Romania.

It is indicated that on Monday, November 13, Romanian Defense Minister Angel Tilvar, together with his Dutch colleague Kaisa Ollongren, will open the F-16 European Training Center at the Fetesti Air Force Base.

The base is located 150 kilometers east of Bucharest, where Ukrainian pilots will be trained.

Lockheed, which makes the F-16, is providing instructors and technical personnel for the exercise.

It is estimated that the training of Ukrainians will take at least 6 months.

On November 7, the Dutch government sent the first group of F-16 fighters to Romania to train Ukrainian pilots.
