There was a plane crash in Germany involving two sports planes. Because of this, two people died.
The tragedy occurred at the Leumnitz airfield in the city of Gera. 2 pilots became victims.

The plane crash happened on Saturday evening – 2 sports planes collided in the sky. As a result, the 42-year-old and 73-year-old pilots of the aircraft were killed. There were no other dead or injured.
After the collision, the planes crashed in an open area. Fire services arrived at the scene. Property losses as a result of the tragedy amount to 200 thousand euros.
So far, the causes of the disaster are unknown. Among the versions are health problems with one of the pilots, a technical malfunction or an error. The tragedy is being investigated.
