Now new so-called “peace plans” are increasingly appearing, most of them based on Russian conditions. Probably, the Russians even included Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in their IPSO.

This is the opinion 24 Channelsaid political scientist Oleg Lesnoy. They say that in this way Orban demonstrates that in the future he can be a lever of influence in the European Union.

“After returning to Europe, he (Orban – Channel 24) should have his ears twisted so that he should not do this, because without authority, only an agent who was told what to do by his curator can play such a game,” said Lesnoy.

Why new “peace plans” are appearing

Our intelligence services warn that there will be a lot of such “peace plans” now. However, all of them are designed to simply erode the Ukrainian plan – this is a traditional Russian tactic that Ukraine has already seen more than once. It changes periodically, but the essence remains the same.

Now the Russians want to flood the information space with “peace initiatives”, to create the illusion that the Ukrainian plan is one of them, while at the same time there are many alternative ones.

Perhaps the initiative is to play exclusively Orban as a peacemaker, but we have already seen so many of them and nothing comes of it, because there is no main component “Vladimir Putin does not want the end of the war, his goal is to destroy Ukraine and then move on,” the political scientist added. It included 12 points. In particular, Beijing called on Ukraine and Russia to sit down at the negotiating table.

In May 2024, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Chief Advisor to the President of Brazil Celso Amorim agreed during a meeting in Beijing plan to end the Russian-Ukrainian war. Unlike the previous one, the new plan contains only 6 points.
