Tough night in Dnepropetrovsk region:

The Russian military continues to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine. On the night of February 11, the enemy attacked the Dnepropetrovsk region with Shahids. There is a hit on energy facilities.

Unfortunately, this night was very restless for the residents of the Dnepropetrovsk region. The invaders attacked it with kamikaze drones. The targets of the invaders were critical infrastructure.

There were some arrivals

Shahids hit two energy facilities in the Krivoy Rog region and one in the Nikopol region. In Krivorozhsky, the same object was attacked twice a day, – stressed the head of the OVA Serhiy Lysak.

According to a high-ranking official,the objects were significantly damaged.Fires broke out as a result of the impact. Luckily, firefighters were able to put them out. Relevant services continue to operate at the places of arrival. Passed without casualties.

Sergey Lysak added that Russia continues to show its true face to the whole world: “bloody, cruel and ugly.” He stressed that this monster simply has no right to exist.

Drones also attacked the South

The evening of February 10 was alarming for the southerners of Ukraine. As noted in OK “South”, from 19:50 to 22:50 Russian invaders attacked the region with Iranian kamikaze drones “Shahid-136”. That evening, forces and means of air defense managed to shoot down 11 Iranian “mopeds”:

  • 4 over Odessa;
  • 5 over Nikolayevskaya;
  • 2 over the Kherson region.

Our air defense units in the sky over the Odessa region shot down 4 Shahid kamikaze drones that were trying to hit energy infrastructure facilities. Thanks to the air defense units, which are always on guard of our skies and have once again shown their professionalism, – stressed the head of the OVA Maxim Marchenko.

Note that at the time of the drone attack in the Odessa region, no air raid alert was announced. As Natalya Gumenyuk, the speaker of OK Yug, noted, the specifics of the use of loitering ammunition, which are Iranian Shahids, may be the reason. Theycould have been flying too low.

For all that, the Ukrainian military not only detected enemy drones. They were still able to shoot down 2 drones over the sea, when they first flew into the area.
