General Dvornikov is a typical cruel leader/Getty images
If in Russia all command is transferred to one hand, then it is good for the army and the offensive. For Ukraine, of course, this is bad. But Dvornikov's reputation is not so impeccable either.
This was stated by Russian oppositionist Ilya Ponomarev on the air of Channel 24. He also noted that it is unlikely that with the advent of a new leader, aggression against Ukraine will not significantly change its character.
He knows how to fight at a distance when he led a motorized rifle regiment in Chechnya, where cruel orders and we shouldn't forget about his experience in Syria,” says the Russian oppositionist.
But it cannot be said that Dvornikov was very successful throughout his operations, so from a military point of view, one should not expect big conquests and ingenious tactical solutions, emphasizes Ponomarev.
