The security service has identified another Russian occupier who tortured civilians during the occupation of part of the Mykolaiv region.

This was reported in the press service of the department.

This is Yusupov Dzhabrail Nasirovich – a Russian sergeant from the 205th separate motorized rifle Cossack brigade of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces.

At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he stormed populated areas of the Nikolaev region, and then carried out so-called “cleansing operations” there.

During punitive raids, Yusupov, together with three Russian military men with the call signs Almaz, Askhab and Kakha, kidnapped civilians from private homes or right in the middle of the street.

“Then the Russians took the victims to Russian dungeons, set up on the territory of a local agricultural enterprise. In the dungeons, numerous tortures were used on people in order to persuade them to cooperate with the occupiers, the report says.

After the de-occupation of the region, the bodies of three local residents with numerous broken bones and traces of gunshot wounds were discovered on the outskirts of the village.

Investigators established that after the liberation of the Nikolayev region, the defendant, as part of his unit, fled to the temporarily occupied territory in the south of Ukraine.

Then the command of the occupation groups of the Russian Federation awarded the Russian executioner the Marshal Zhukov medal “for military merit.”

Punishment for the occupier

Based on the collected evidence, Security Service investigators informed Yusupov of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28, part 1 art. 438 of the Criminal Code (violation of the laws and customs of war, committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).

Comprehensive measures are now ongoing to establish his whereabouts and bring him to justice for crimes against our state.

“The attacker will be found and punished regardless of the time and place where he is hiding,” the SBU noted.
