The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the latest news from the front as of the morning of May 30. The Russian invaders restored the destroyed railway bridge near the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region.
The Russians moved weapons and equipment
The General Staff says that the Russian invaders want to provide logistics and resupply their units that suffered heavy losses from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Therefore, the enemy moved more than 250 units of weapons and military equipment to temporarily occupied settlements.
In order to transfer troops and equipment more quickly, the Russian invaders restored the destroyed railway bridge near the city of Kupyansk.
What's going on in Kharkiv region
- Even earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched counter-offensive operations in the region. They want to drive the enemy beyond the borders. At the same time, a heavy shelling of the city of Kharkov took place recently, among the dead there is a 5-month-old baby. President Volodymyr Zelensky himself visited the front line in the Kharkiv region on May 29. There, the president presented awards to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- Also, during a visit to Kharkiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed the regional head of the Security Service of Ukraine. He did not defend our state in the first days of the war. He cared about personal motives and goals.
- At the beginning of the day on May 30, residents of Merefa, Kharkiv region, reported a missile attack on their city. It is not yet known what damage it caused. Approximately half an hour earlier, Russian propaganda resources reported the launch of missiles. They indicated that they launched Iskanders from the Belgorod region of Russia.
- As early as May 28, the General Staff reported that the Russian invaders had stopped the offensive in the Kharkov region. They are trying to hold their positions. Even then, our military said that the Russian invaders continue to transfer weapons, military equipment and materiel by rail from Russian territory to Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region.
