This was announced by the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko. He also stressed that utilities will work in an enhanced mode.
The heating season in Kyiv will begin on October 20
Tomorrow, October 20, we will start the heating season in the capital. According to the technological schedule, all buildings will be connected to the heat supply system. We made the decision to start the heating season primarily on the basis of weather conditions. Gradual cooling and low temperatures at night, – said Klitschko.
Also, the mayor added, an important factor for the beginning of the heating season is to save electricity. So that the people of Kiev do not turn on electric heaters and air conditioners and do not overload the power supply system.
According to him, utilities are preparing to work in an enhanced mode.

The Mayor also recalled that the connection of social institutions to heat supply began earlier on individual requests. Many social institutions are equipped with individual heat points, which allows remote control of heat supply and use it rationally.
