The passage of the winter period directly depends on the gas supply. Yuri Korolchuk, an expert at the Energy Strategies Institute, said this to Channel 24.
We are a gasified country. The passage of the heating season depends solely on the supply of gas. Electricity will not save us, he stressed.
The problem will affect everyone
According to Korolchuk, even if electricity is restored, there will be no blows to it there may be a gas supply problem. Unfortunately, every Ukrainian will feel it.
As an expert of the Institute of Energy Strategies notes, the deployment of gas supplies from underground storage facilities in Western Ukraine to the East, South and Central Ukraine provides for:
- burning more technical gas;
- proper the technical condition of the networks, no damage.
“If there is damage, it will affect almost everyone. Now problems with electricity affect someone to a lesser extent, someone more. The gas situation will affect everyone totally,” Korolchuk summed up.
