After 8 years of defending the Motherland, Vladislav decided to quit his job and start a peaceful and civil life. However, Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine changed his plans.
Vladislav dreamed of becoming an interior designer, starting a family, having children. However, he died defending his native Mariupol. The defender's mother told about this during the photo performance “Angels of Mariupol”, channel 24 reports.
Some things turned out to be even worse than the loss of a child
Vladislav's mother dreamed about how he would return home, what she would cook for her beloved son to please him. However, these dreams were no longer destined to come true.
I dreamed of how to meet, what goodies I would cook, what a holiday would be. These are the dreams of many parents from our family of Azovstal defenders, who were not destined to come true … We don’t know how to ease the unbearable pain of loss, how to realize that we will never hug our dearest person again, – she said.
She admitted that even worse than the death of a child for parents was not being able to bury their child and take him on his last journey.
I always thought that the worst thing for parents is to bury their child, but this war showed more terrible things. Many of us will not be able to bury, say goodbye and respectfully lead our loved ones on their last journey. But we must continue to live, gritting our teeth, wiping away tears and barely relieving the unbearable pain of loss. We need to live for their memory. Who, if not us, will honor their feat in the liberated Mariupol? – said the mother of the deceased hero.

Suppressing tears, the woman stressed that the guys defended the city to the last breath and their choice should be respected.
She said that with the loss of her son, her dreams had changed. Now the goal of her future life is to walk along the streets of Ukrainian Mariupol, where there were fierce battles, to go to school number 1, where she took her still little son to karate-do and within the walls of which he took his last fight, to hold an event near the restored Drama Theater .Dear parents, wives, sisters, brothers, respected family of Azovstal defenders. We will go to Marik together, after the dismissal, after the victory. This dream should become an impetus for later life, the meaning of the existence of parents who have lost their most dear. Who, if not us, will tell about the incredible feat of soldiers who, with their warm hearts, their professional and skillful actions, with their lives, stopped the invasion of the enemy and enabled our troops to defend the state in other directions? who else if not us?, – said Vladislav's mother.
