The Russians will lose on the battlefield, so they are trying to intimidate Ukraine with strikes on civilian and energy infrastructure. Already now they have a shortage of missiles, and the time between shelling is changing.
This was told to Channel 24 by the speaker of the Odesa OVA Sergey Bratchuk. He noted that Russia will continue to use combined attacks: missiles and drones.
According to Bratchuk, on January 4, 2023, Russian ships traditionally went on combat duty in the Black Sea.
Possibility of a combined attack
There is a possibility of preparing the next massive attack, because even submarines can launch from the bays of the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, where they are now. So it was in December 2022, when calibers were used.
Of course, the enemy will try to combine strikes, because there is a shortage of missiles in Russia. Therefore, kamikaze drones are used very often,” added Bratchuk.
In particular, in Odessa, strikes on the energy structure were carried out by Iranian drones, and it was they who had grave consequences.
“But the timing of shelling is changing, the time interval between shelling is changing and is becoming really critical for Russia,” said a representative of the Odessa Regional Military District.

Where in Odessa invaders aim
The Russians are planning shelling, deliberately choosing targets, Bratchuk is convinced.
They are targeting precisely civilian facilities , energy infrastructure facilities , and are also trying to hit those places where there are crowds of people. This is all over Ukraine, Odessa is no exception,” the speaker added.
The Russians put physical and psychological pressure on people, act like terrorists, plan and prepare in advance, because they cannot defeat us on the battlefield, the expert summed up.
The last massive shelling in numbers
