Putin, the Amur tiger, died in the USA.
At the zoo in the US state of Minnesota 12-year-old Amur tiger the tiger, nicknamed Putin, diedfrom heart failure.
This was announced on March 24 on the zoo's Twitter page.
The animal died during a routine medical procedure, despite the efforts of veterinarians.
Recall that a calf of the eastern black rhinoceros, which is endangered, was born in the Czech zoo Dvur-Králové. It was named Kyiv in honor of Ukraine's resistance to the Russian army.
A lemur was born in the Kiev zoo during the war. It was named Bayraktar in honor of the Turkish drones that held back the advance of the Russian invaders and saved the lives of Ukrainians.
