Three oil tankers, which were recently blocked by the US and imposed sanctions, were regularly delivering Russian Sokol crude oil to India.
This was shown by ship tracking data from LSEG and Kpler, writes Reuters.
Sanctions against the Russian oil business

According to the Ministry of Finance, the sanctions included ships flying the flag of Liberia: Kazan, Ligovsky Prospekt and NS Century.
All three Aframax-sized tankers unloaded Russian Sokol crude in India in September, while two of them departed in October, according to LSEG data.
According to LSEG and Kpler, NS Century is now en route to unloading Sokol crude oil at Vadinar in India on 25 November.
Sokol oil is produced at the Sakhalin-1 project, which is operated by a subsidiary of Rosneft.
