Three Russian missiles flew over Moldova: Podolyak pointed to the inaction of partners

Ukraine's European and American partners must proactively respond to all possible threats to Russia. They can also develop a plan of action that would make it impossible for Russian missiles to fly over European countries in the future.

The world has already found itself in the center of the scaling up of Russia's war against Ukraine to at least the pan-European level. Mykhailo Podoliak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, told Channel 24 about this.

The Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office noted that Ukraine warned partners about the possible scaling of the war to other countries .

Russia has absolutely inaccurate weapons, which will certainly lead to the fact that Russian missiles can hit the territory of European partner countries (or even EU members). We warned about this. This can be combated through missile defense systems, which should operate and shoot down all this, including over the territory of Ukraine and Moldova,” Podolyak explained.

According to him, in this situation, it is not necessary to transfer anything to Ukraine because Allies can shoot down Russian missiles even from their own territory.

“Another solution could be a note that the following missiles will cause strikes on objects located in the Black Sea, from which these missiles flew into the territory of other countries, not only Ukraine. We must already stop talking about escalation and scaling. We have the most scalable war,” the official added.

In his opinion, today the world already has “the most terrorist-type war that hits Ukrainian civilian targets.”

“We have the use of all types of Russian weapons, except for weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, we must finally take responsibility and end the war correctly. No more talk about immediate negotiation processes. We must give the weapons that we ask. In that mathematical amount which we ask,” the adviser emphasized.

He indicated that it is also necessary to protect the airspace of countries not related to the war, including Moldova and other countries located in the region .

“For Ukraine, it is desirable to receive both missiles of a certain range, and an additional amount of armored vehicles, and, of course, missile defense systems. I don't understand why today you can sit and watch live how city centers where the civilian population goes to work are attacked. It's impossible so that in the 21st century some creature sits somewhere in Moscow and says that it will kill civilians,” Podolyak summed up.
