The Security Service detained the spotter, at whose coordinates the Russians attacked Sumy, as a result of which three civilians of the city were killed.

Russian agent spotted UAV strikes on Sumy
The Russian agent turned out to be a resident of Sumy, who was adjusting the enemy strikes of the Russian Federation on his region.

According to the investigation, it was at the agent's coordinates that the Russian occupiers attacked Sumy with Shahedami on October 22 of this year.
Then, as a result of enemy shelling of residential buildings in the city, three civilians were killed. Among them is one child.
As it turned out, in addition to guiding enemy UAVs to civilian infrastructure in Sumy, the enemy henchman was reconnoitering the locations of Ukrainian military personnel.
In order to obtain the information the enemy needed, the attacker drove around Sumy and the surrounding areas in his own car and recorded the objects needed by the Russian Federation.
According to the SBU, the 23-year-old agent was in direct contact with a career employee of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Federation (GRU).
They used an anonymous chat in a messenger to communicate, where the traitor sent videos of potential targets with coordinates and descriptions objects.
Subsequently, counterintelligence officers detained the Russian agent when he was carrying out a mission near one of the military facilities.
The GRU contacted the man in the fall of this year, when he wrote in Russian Telegram channels that he expected the Russians to capture Sumy region. Then the Russians recruited him remotely.
During the searches, the traitor's phone and laptop were seized with evidence of his cooperation with the Russian invaders.
The Russian agent is currently in custody. He was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The offender faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
