The latest poll showed that the majority of supporters of both the Democratic and Republican parties support US sanctions against Russia and say that in the midterm elections to Congress on November 8 this year they will prefer candidates who support < strong>military assistance to Ukraine.

At the same time, about half of the respondents, including 6 out of 10 Democrats, are concerned that Russia may try to influence the elections to Congress through disinformation and propaganda.

In addition, the survey found that US citizens rate Joe Biden's reaction to the war in Ukraine higher than his actions on other issues. We are talking, in particular, about the country's economic performance and high energy prices.

Thus, about 46% of respondents, including 70% of Democrats and 24% of Republicans, generally approve of Biden's decisions and actions regarding Ukraine, but the approval of economic steps was only 37%, the settlement of energy prices – 32%.

By the way, it is noted that in general, Biden's work as president in the survey was approved by 42% respondents, which is the lowest level during his term. Both Reuters and Ipsos polls were conducted online across the United States, with over 1,005 American adults each time.
