It may seem unfair that Moldova and Georgia are trying to “jump” into the boat that Ukraine is moving towards the EU. On the contrary, they should be supported. Even despite the ambiguous governments, sometimes flirting with Russia.

Ukrainian political scientist Mykola Davydyuk told Channel 24 about this. He positively perceives that Moldova and Georgia joined the Ramstein format, and also immediately applied after Ukraine for the so-called accelerated accession to the European Union.

This can be outrageous, especially because of the mixed reactions of the governments of both states regarding the sanctions against Russia. However, Nikolai Davidiuc believes that both Moldova and Georgia, on the contrary, should be supported in their aspirations.

The only thing is that he admitted the possibility that a representative of Georgia could be sent to the Ramstein meeting in order to to find out information for the invaders. After all, the government there is clearly pro-Russian.

We are all in the same boat

Sentiment aside, Ukraine should react positively to the accession of both states to Ramstein and the move to the EU. After all, strategically, we have been following a common vector for a long time . Yes, now Ukraine has escaped a little. It is quite normal to show leadership and help both partners move forward.

There may be many questions for the governments of both Georgia and Moldova. But no nations . Both Georgians and Moldovans supported Ukraine in its struggle against Russian invaders.

“Ukraine should treat this normally, despite the fact that their governments are not ideal. Let’s be honest, is our Cabinet of Ministers ideal? We then also looked like a nasty duckling in the eyes of those countries that went to Europe, but communicated with us,” Mykola Davidyuk emphasized.

“Ramstein” can tear Russia to shreds

The political scientist is pleased with the new Rammstein format, which is fast, efficient and powerful. According to him, 40 defense ministers from different countries is really a superpower. This can be seen as an attempt to find a new security architecture for the world.

It is important that this format really works. Special thanks should be given to the United States and Great Britain, which have taken on various organizational functions of unification and financing. If Europe were doing this, it could be completely different.

People in Europe are very fond of meeting and talking. And here they gathered – and deleted the cache. And this money came in handy for us, and intelligence, and weapons, and analytical data, and even hacker attacks, which coincidentally appeared from somewhere and destroyed the Russian architecture of governing their state,” the political scientist noted.

Davidyuk emphasized that “Rammstein” is a situational union, which in the future could grow into something much more. But so far it cannot replace NATO in any way. Although it has certain advantages, including high mobility.
