Russian invaders will try to land troops during a possible new offensive. The threat exists in the North and in the South of our country.
This was commented by Andrey Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, during a telethon, Channel 24 reports.
“If we are talking about a classic amphibious operation. Such a threat is also always present – either from the Belarusian direction, or amphibious assault, if we are talking about Odessa,” Yusov said.
But he is convinced that such a solution would be suicidal for the Russians. Such a landing will be very quickly destroyed on the territory of Ukraine.
Just as there were colossal losses during the start of a full-scale invasion at the Gostomel airport (Kyiv region – Channel 24), when the Ukrainians inflicted crushing losses on the invaders, Yusov added.
Earlier, analysts from the Institute of War reported that the invaders went to offensive in the Luhansk region. Geolocation footage confirmed the achievement of the Russians in the Dvuhletny area northwest of Svatovo.
New Russian offensive: what intelligence says
At the same time Andrey Yusov, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, stated that one should not use the wording “repeated offensive”, because since February 24, 2022, Ukraine has been living in a large-scale war and the occupiers have not stopped their offensive.
He also stressed that even when speaking we are talking about the aggravation of hostilities, probably, this should be expected in the East of our state – namely, in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
Of course, there may be reports from Russian propaganda that Putin's soldiers have become more active in other directions. However, these are probably stuffing and fakes to disgust the armed forces.
