Extending the deadline for updating data in the TCC by 90 days will significantly delay the process of rotations and strengthening the positions of the Defense Forces.
The speaker of the Ministry of Defense Dmitry Lazutkin spoke about this on the national telethon, commenting on the bill, which was registered in parliament on the morning of May 29.
— 150 days to update – that’s 5 months plus preparation time. That is, new mobilized ones will appear near the front line sometime before the New Year. I think it's a little strange.
Considering that the brigades in which I served — The 47th and 59th are already conducting their own recruiting. People are needed, commanders say they need reinforcements. And this means that it is needed here and now. Accordingly, I believe that this process should not be drawn out, — he pointed out.
Mobilization in Ukraine — how the data update process works
Lazutkin noted that the first ten days of data updating in the TCC showed positive dynamics and results.
Now watching
Since May 18, in accordance with the law, 1 million 300 thousand men of military age passed through the territorial recruitment centers, including 155 thousand women liable for military service.
According to Lazutkin, if this trend continues, then 6 million Ukrainians will be able to update their data in 60 days.
— In my opinion, this number may increase, given that electronic queues have already been introduced at the TCC and CNAP, which also optimizes the process, and Reserve+ is now working without failure. That is, if there is some kind of force majeure, of course, it will be possible to react to it, — summed up the representative of the Ministry of Defense.
