This is Putin pulling all the threads: Zhdanov said whether the West is inclining Ukraine to negotiations

by alex

Recently, publications in the media have begun to appear again that the West may begin to persuade Ukraine to negotiate with Russia. Dictator Vladimir Putin is trying in every possible way to achieve this.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told about this on his YouTube channel, Channel 24 reports. He commented on the information from the German publication Bild that the West may begin to persuade Ukraine to negotiate if the Armed Forces of Ukraine fail to partially or completely vacate the territories by autumn.

Putin began to pull “all the strings”

According to Zhdanov, the Kremlin has recently begun to actively get all the compromising evidence and use loyal Western politicians to force Ukraine into negotiations. They began to leak so-called “insiders” about the negotiations to the media, and this was subsequently replicated by Western publications.

The military expert drew attention to the message of solidarity to the people of Ukraine from NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. He stressed that NATO would support Ukraine as much as necessary. Also, the Alliance “defends your right to choose your own path.”

NATO has officially denied these rumors, which are written by the Western media. Also, the White House also said that Ukraine chooses a decision when to start the negotiation process, no matter what they write in the media, – Zhdanov said.

Negotiations with Russia: latest news

  • According to The Wall Street Journal, France, Germany and the UK are considering the possibility of closer ties between Ukraine and NATO. So they want to gently push Kyiv to negotiate with Moscow.
  • However, they emphasize that any decision, when and under what conditions to conduct negotiations, will be made by Kyiv.
  • Last week, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak unveiled a plan for an agreement to give Ukraine greater access to modern military equipment, weapons and ammunition to protect itself after the end of the war.
  • This, allegedly, should increase the confidence of Ukraine and give an incentive to start negotiations. And for Russia, this step will show that in the future the West is ready to significantly expand assistance to Ukraine. This would be supposed to convince the Kremlin that they will not achieve their military goals.
