Waiting for F-16 fighters, Ukraine is increasingly fighting with unmanned aerial systems, which make it possible to carry out significant strikes on Russian territory.
Aviation expert, Deputy General Director of the company for the production of electronic warfare equipment Anatoly Khrapchinsky explained during the telethon how the work of the air defense and Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces can be strengthened after receiving F-16 aircraft.
How Ukraine will be strengthened by F-16 aircraft
— Ukraine is now fighting not only thanks to the old Soviet air assets that remain. In anticipation of the F-16, we are fighting increasingly with unmanned aerial systems, which allow us to carry out significant strikes on Russian territory. This is preparation for the work of our F-16s, for example, facilitating the work of unmanned aerial systems that operate both in the Crimea and the Russian Federation, — explained the expert.
Anatoly Khrapchinsky noted that the F-16 and Mirage aircraft, which should be provided by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, will significantly strengthen Ukraine.

— Mirage will significantly strengthen us, given that we have the ability to receive Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles. They are the carriers of these missiles. This will help increase the capabilities of our Su-24s, which are currently using the limited capabilities of this missile, — he noticed.
The expert recalled that Ukraine will receive two long-range radar detection aircraft from Sweden. These are SAAB aircraft that will significantly enhance the capabilities of the Ukrainian F-16.
— This will be a flying command post that will be able to give specific target instructions to both aircraft and ground-based air defense systems. Thanks to these aircraft, we will be able to operate with some means without the absence of radar radiation on the same F-16 or ground-based air defense systems, — emphasized by the aviation expert.
